Our growers, packers, and shippers take food safety as seriously as you do. They maintain the highest food safety standards in the produce industry by following Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. These standards are verified by onsite farm and facility visits by our Worldwide Food Safety Staff. In addition, we require annual third-party food safety audits to be performed at each of our produce grower’s operations.

WINEMAKING & SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
In the early days of the business, "PaPa" James Desiderio took considerable pride in selling California wine grapes. He emphasized being a successful, well-rounded business; it was essential to fulfill the needs of all customers - big or small.
The traditional wine grape is still available as it was years ago in the bulk form. However, because of changing times, we also carry 6-gallon buckets of juice in all varieties as well. Winemaking supplies, as well as Oak barrels and glass demijohns are available to accommodate the most demanding winemaker.
We also carry a complete line of high-quality pasta products by Corticella, a full line of global specialty foods by Roland, and Marie's Dressings.
